Scoliosis Counselling
Beyond the physical curvature of the spine, scoliosis—particularly Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS)—exerts a profound psychological impact on individuals, often leading to mental health challenges that persist into adulthood.
I offer psychological support to help individuals navigate the emotional and mental challenges that can accompany scoliosis, including pain, body image concerns, anxiety, and adjustment to diagnosis or ongoing care.
Therapy provides a supportive space to process these experiences, develop effective coping strategies and develop skills and strategies to overcome the unique mental health challenges of living with scoliosis. Using evidence-based approaches, sessions are tailored to your needs, with a focus on improving overall wellbeing, enhancing self-confidence, and supporting your journey.
