Assessment Services

Assessment provides a unique opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of how an individual learns, thinks and processes information.

 

Through the use of evidence-based tools, these assessments explore cognitive abilities, academic skills, attention, memory, and emotional functioning to identify strengths and challenges as well as any learning differences or difficulties, such as specific learning disorders or difficulties with attention, organisation or focus.

The value lies not only in accurate diagnosis (if appropriate), but in the practical, tailored recommendations that follow, guiding targeted interventions, informing school-based supports, understanding potential learning strengths and helping parents, educators, and individuals better understand how to optimise learning and wellbeing.

  • Comprehensive Psycho-Educational assessment
    (ADHD and Learning Difficulties)

    • 1x 50 Min Initial appointment with Parent/s

    • 2 x 2 hour assessment sessions (extra 1 hour if needed

    • Questionnaires completed (if applicable)

    • Report Preparation1 x 50 Min Report Feedback ​

  • ADHD Assessment 

    • 1 x 50 Min Initial ​Appointment with Parent/s

    • 1 x 50 Min with Child/ Teen

    • Questionnaires completed by Parents and Teacher/s

    • Preparation of Report 

    • 1 x 50 Min Report feedback 

*Generally only recommended when your Paediatrician is not concerned with other potential difficulties*​

  • Learning Difficulties Assessment​

    • 1x 50 Min Initial appointment with Parent/s

    • 1 x 2 hour assessment sessions (extra 1 hour if needed)

    • Questionnaires completed (if applicable)

    • Report Preparation1 x 50 Min Report Feedback ​

*Generally only recommended if other causes have been ruled out or previously assessed*​

​Fee $1800

  • School Readiness Assessment 

    • 1 x 50 Min Initial ​appointment with Parent/s

    • 2 hour Kindy observation

    • Questionnaires completed by Parents/ Teacher (if applicable)

    • Preparation of observation notes

    • 1 x 50 Min observation feedback (Mostly Parent only)​
